Spotted parked outside a building society in Saffron Walden this afternoon:

Number plates don't appear to be the same front and rear! But there were no other plates on it. Interior was full of what looked like scrutineering stickers. Wheels look a bit contemporary though.

looks like a real type 35, give aways being amongst other bits, the cable operated brakes and the magneto poking through the dash

Looks like the genuine article, certainly isn't a Teal or a Dri-Sleeve (Google it!).

Yes, if it's anything like the Fiat 509 I saw last week then the pedals aren't even in the standard layout.

You may have noticed it has SV 2357 on the back and SV 5723 on the front. If you put '"SV 2357" Bugatti' into Google (or '"SV 5723" Bugatti') there are no results. If there were only 43 Type 35Bs built I'd have expected a bunch of history to turn up.

I live in Saffron Walden, and work just up the road from where the photo was taken.
I am by no means an expert on these things, but I know of the person who owns this car
and as far as I can tell it is the real thing, I have spoken to him briefly a couple
of months ago but haven't seen him since to talk to him more, I believe he has 2.

Could be a Pur Sang or Tim Dutton. Hard to say, I don't know a great deal about either.

And they're so small he manages to get both of them in the cupboard under the stairs.
