Pick as many as you like.

I for one let my wife drive my p&j occasionally. I am also happy to let my Dad drive my car as he's a petrolhead and very good driver (ex BIB advanced/motorway driving trainer).

Everyone else can do one.

Seeing as I only have the one and it's a shed, I'd let anyone if they had insurance.

Would let my partner and parents drive mine- I fully trust them and I know they wouldn't do anything silly!

Well as my GF doesn't have a driver license yet, she's out. My mother drives fast, but her car is full of dents, sctratches, so she's out too. My stepfather admitted (after a dangerously long time) that his eyes are getting worse day by day, so he's out as well... Who left? smile

Me and my best friend. He's damn crazy, but drives pretty good.

As long as it is somebody I know fairly well (I.E won't disappear off of the face of the earth if they stack it) I'd let anyone drive my car. They just have to understand that very basic "You break it, you fix it" rule, and understand that I will start breaking legs if necessary smile

Mine too. My Uncle actually banned him from driving his TVR as he was "embarrassing" him, despite my Dad not even owning a RWD car since the 70s.

When I finally got my GTI set up (almost) correctly, he took me for a spin in that. I did the way out, he did the way
back in about half the time.

Weird thing is he refuses to buy himself a decent car. My parents currently have a Citroen C4 (which to be fair is great for what he wanted it for - economy and comfort on the long commute to Heathrow) and a Xsara Picasso. The Picasso served a purpose when they had two kids at Uni and one in boarding school, but now we've all left home, have our own cars and there's no reason why they need it. The only thing I can think of as to why he's keen to hold on to it is so he can sell it to us when we start a family. I've tried telling him I'd rather roll my child around in a barrel than in a Picasso, but he doesn't seem to have got the hint. Any ideas on how to persuade him to get something vaguely fun?

Good friends who's driving I trust I let drive the Caterham and the Mustang, on road and track. I let my OH drive them too although she doesn't like doing so much.

My MGB which is actually pretty high up on the list of cars I want to own, I'm happy for my Dad to drive it and he can drive it once I pass as well if he wants. I would probably also let my uncle drive it but no one else, Not even close friends.

I'm not overfussed myself

Lots of people have driven it at Marham on track days

If they are ABLE to drive a car they can drive mine

It is a car, built in a factory by ordinary people (I dont buy the "MG Workers were absolute Gods" Bollix myself)

So since I built it myself from the car I rescued I am confident it is just a car, only nicer

Anyone who asks.

My current favourite car sends everyone into grandad mode when they get behind the wheel anyway, the main danger is sudden, unexpected bouts of narcolepsy as you waft along..gotta love Series 3 Barges.

Elise - old man only. He's superb and used to 420bhp in his daily so mine's a pussycat by comparison.

Rallye - I let my missus drive that. She loves the induction noise and seems to be constantly borrowing it for tunnel runs in Leeds. Chav.

My car is a serious shed at the moment but I still only let my Dad drive it, and that's because he's a cop.

I don't mind letting friends and family drive my cars provided I have a reasonable opinion of their driving skills.

I'll let anyone have a go in mine. Always have been like that. It's only a car, I don't understand these people that don't let their other half drive and get overly precious over it. I do know someone like that though but it's never made sense to me.
