Anyone going to see this? I fancy going on the Saturday and Sunday. I was going Friday too but uni put some random career THING on a Friday that was previously free! Sounds good to see what the new Arena complex is like...

I'll be there just for Sunday. I've been a couple of times this year and the circuit will be a poorer place without Bridge. It really is a bit of a building site at the moment and photography is worse than before. Grumble, grumble, etc. Can't wait for the racing though!

Sunday for me.

It will be bluetone junior's first day out at a big circuit - we go to our local, Castle Combe, quite a bit.

He is six years old and very excited at the prospect of seeing his favourite car, the Murcielago SV, on-track smile

Lucky sod - I wish my dad had done this with me when I was his age!!

I grew up near Oulton Park and started going when I was about 3 or 4 as my old man is a car nut. One of our early trips "abroad" was to Donington for the forerunner to the FIA GT1 Championship - the Karcher BPR GT Championship in 1995. I still have very fond memories of seeing McLaren F1 GTRs there. Your lad is very lucky, but he won't forget it.

Litchlake is the closest and pretty reasonable

Under 16s are free so you need 2 tix.

All sorted now thanks. Assumed it would be just two but wanted to be sure. Camped for the F1 last year and was charged a nominal fee of around £10 per pitch per night.

Thanks.

Tent is airing. Am looking forward to this.

Anyone know if the supercar run is happening from St James' Square on the Friday morning, as per previous years?

A couple of friends and I have be wondering about this, there hasn't been advertising in EVO mag like last year (that I have seen), but there appears to be a facebook page for it...

Hi there,

I can confirm that yes the Supercar Run is happening this year.

There is a superb list of no less than 46 cars including one very special car the Aston Martin One-77.

The cars will be assembling as in previous years at the Royal Automobile Club from 8am onwards leaving central London at around 9.45am for the 80 mile drive to Silverstone.

As in previous years I will be at the circuit capturing shots of the cars as they arrive, and also out on track.

Are there any interesting liveries on any of the cars?

How is the Aston painted up?

Would really appreciate any photos / suggestions anyone has regarding paint schemes or liveries for this weekend.

Need suggestions by 1900 tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

Don't suppose you know which way they are going out of town do you? Finchley Road to the M1?
