Flat Battery - Could it be 100amp fuse, How to stop alarm

I had a flat battery a couple of weeks ago and have not had time to track down a 100amp fuse. This morning i went to get something out of the car and my fob no longer opens the door and disables the alarm.
i obviously know how to gain access to the car but does anyone know how i disable the alarm once i am in.
I got the flat battery as for some reason the battery was not charging after i got caught in heavy rain in standstill traffic. Could this be just the 100amp fuse or is it the Alternator. im fearing the alternator but thought its too much of a coincidence being stuck in heavy rain then it goes. i will also try cleaning the connections and see what happens.
Any help or thoughts as always most appreciated.

If the 100A fuse has popped, or disintegrated (which is more likely) the battery won't charge, as the fuse is between the alternator and battery.
In fact, its usefulness is debateable.
If the batt voltage is low the alarm/immobiliser won't work properly anyway. MAybe you can switch off the alarm with the little plastic key thing if you have it.
Get the battery charged, and check that fuse!
