I've just bought a nice new PC and want to copy my Firefox bookmarks from the old one, but can't find them anywhere.

Where should I be looking?

Well, on the Mac version, go to bookmarks, and you'll see the tools tab

So export html, and on the new version import html... Just transfer the file from one comp to the other.

use the add-in foxmarks - will sync your bookmarks and keep a copy on their servers too.

Or you can just go to :

Vista/win 7 :
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming

and copy the mozilla firefox folder, then paste it into the same place on the new PC.

In windows XP its :

C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Application Data

These only do bookmarks though, not cookies/passwords/history.

There's an app for doing that - just google it ....

I used a little program recommended by mozilla to do the same last week.

Moved whole thunderbird and firefox settings in a couple of easy clicks, no hassel with it at all.
