Gear Oil?

Before I get my car back on the road (it's getting an exhaust made for it this week!!!) I want to change the transmission oil (Getrag 996 with LSD) I have been using Shell Helix 75w90 fully Syn but can't seem to find it any more, so what is the oil of choice???
I know this is going to be like opening a can of worms....but I'm not up on gear oil as it doesn't get changed that often.

I believe the Redline 75w90 is supposed to be one of the better ones.

Looking forward to catching up with you later this week. Mobil SHC SAE 75W-90 fully synthetic is my choice.

i seem to remember that for certain boxes (mine was a G50) you should use a good quality semi synthetic as it contain additives essential for lubing certain internal parts - not sure which ones?
