Hi,

Went to look at this 360 Spider today.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1228901.htm

Seemed to be in nice nick with cambelt, clutch and service done <500 miles ago.

Previously reg'd as WCH1 I think. Anyone know it?

360 prices seem to be a bit all over. What do the collective think it's worth?

Also, i took it out and was surprised how loud it was given the (presumed) stock exhaust. I was convinced I would need to factor in the cost of a Tubi/Capristo but i don't actually think I'd want it much louder as it made quite a racket when wound up (not that noisy at low revs). No markings on the tail pipes / collector box that I could see. Is the stock system actually that loud?

Thanks in advance!

Chris

Looks like a nice thing, still low miles but more than expected for year (maybe) for an 04 model thats a desirable car - especially with black inserts. A bit of negotiation should be possible?driving

Looks like a nice car I would check the srvice history and make sure no gaps. Price seems reasonable and nice spec. I've got the stock exhaust on my car and to be honest I'm begining to realise it's quite loud enough (so the neighbours say).

One would certainly hope so...

Is there a way of getting the bypass valves on the stock system to stay open at lower revs? I know on the Corvette Z06 you can fit a switch which basically keeps them open.

Yes they are open when you first start the car (thats why they bark on cold start up)not a big job, easily done by yourself.
