...an oil pressure water temp gauge that they want to sell (cheap)!

I have two but both are knackered :-( I'm going to send them off to get them refurbished but may need to use the car while they're away, knowing Speedy Cables reputation that may be some time!

Failing that anyone got a complete set of instruments, ideally in white, to sell?

it is possible to cap both the water pipe where the water send goes in and the end of the oil feed pipe at the gauge end, it just a matter of find the right size bolt. my neighbour is a gas engineer and after a short rumage around came up something suitable.

i was only moving the car about 10 miles but i would not recomend constant use!

I just had my water temp and oil pressure gauge repaired and calibrated from them it only took about couple of weeks tops. £69 I think i paid including their postage!
I have not yet fitted it to my car so my old inaccurate one is still in the car. So don't actually have a spare at the moment! sorry Tim

Thanks anyway Mark, as is always the case the little job got bigger so now have most of the front of the car apart and am looking at replacing carious 13 yr old bits, and re-soldering a lot of iffy looking joints. :-)

Have even been on to D&C Trim about getting some seats trimmed with 5-point harness holes!

Anyway, long time no see how are you and Tracy?

Not sure if these guys can help with oil pressure etc dials but they sorted griff speedo and rev counter v quickly?

I've just emailed ETB Instruments (in Southend) about a repair as ours is fd too, as I don't like some of the stories about "Speedy".

I'll let you know what they come back with & maybe send off a batch together ?

ETB only do early TVR gauges, ours are Caerbont so are definately Speedy - I phoned ETB last week.
