hi
I'm looking to buy a Esprit - either V8 (preferred), S4s or S4; I'd like to try a GT3 as well. I've talked to dealers etc. I've been a Lotus owner before with an Excel SA, currently I drive a modified nissan 300ZX TT. I would like to meet with owners of such models to either test drive or be driven to get to know the models better. I live in Hertfordshire and am prepared to travel a reasonable distance say 50 mile radius.
If you can help please let me know.
Thanks,
Geoff.

Hey!

I have a modified TT also 1990.
Lotus 1990 redone head to toe except engine.
Porsch carrera cab.

So what have you done to you TT.
Don't you just love it, getting an easy 400hp. to the ground with little or no effort at all?

Geoff - meetings are usually arranged via the yahoo group http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/UKLotusEsprit/ but are usually plugged by lotusespritworld.com too.

You just missed a meet last night at the Ace cafe in london. Theres a midlands lotus meet this weekend which should get a few esprits joining www.mloc.net and theres always the Donnington show 27/28 March.

For test drives i'd always recommend go to a dealer - that way you can give the car some stick without the risk of upsetting someone

Cheers
Rob

Hi Tony,
Thanks for info & Rob.
I'm in Welwyn Garden city so nearby! So when's your next meet at S. Mimms?
I see you've got a GT3 - do you find it underpowered at all?
The GT3 is on my list to try out - I like that it's recent at a good price!
Well Tony if you can I'd appreciate a ride in your GT3 as a passenger. If you can would you call me on 07976433803.
Thanks,
Geoff.

I'll give you a shout, i work in WGC and i drive the car to work most days so look out for me, next big meet is on the 21st and then Donnington on the 27th, as regards power with the chip ugrade and exhaust i can keep pace with just about anyone, the problem you have is that most of the local boys only have one driving speed, flat out :-)

Thanks Tony - I live on the South side of WGC near Ascotts lane - so if your heading into the town centre its doubtful I would see you. Any way I look forward to your call.
Thanks,
Geoff.
