If you are charged with a murder, the law has to prove that you did it before chucking away the key.

If you speed, and are photographed, the law can hide the evidence from you. It can require you to own up, and if you don't - you get hit just as hard as if you took the rap.

Anyone see the problem here? if the murder charge went the same way, if you were a suspect but could not tell the Pols who *did* the murder, then you'd still be done for an equivalent sentance.

Where did it all go pear shaped with the burden of proof being the responsibility of the presecution?

yea but you got to remember revenue generation in much more inportaint that human life.
