Its a coming of age!

Phew what a scorcher this weekend was. What would you do? Get The Nob out? Well, I got my Honda out. 32kw and 98db. Yep. It started beautifully and cruised effortlessly and, it has to be said, very fuel efficient too at the revs at which I ran it.
A petrol mower is a coming of age you know. Old age!
Ok, did take the Nob for a blast too!

I laughed out loud when I scrolled down to that picture. Brilliant.
I still have to walk behind my one! Got to say though, that after my crash in LeMans in 2006, my petrol mower was a great aid in getting me walking again. A powered Zimmer frame.
P.s Joust, I've been working in Shelleys Lane for a while and will be back there in early June. Not seen you about up in those thar hills yet!

there must be a link between car owners and tractor mowers. last year at le mans there were 4 guys racing their lawn mowers round the circuit. far better than cutting nice green stripes on your lawn....

Anyone tried taking their tractor mower on the snow ? Now that is fun, great for towing sledges as well.....
