Maserati Quattroporte Hearse
Discussion
Just been looking through the news and spotted what looked like the bonnet of a Maserati QP covered in flowers for the funeral of the Polish President.

Looked at the link and its actually a Maser QP hearse, I wonder what made them build that? Check 29secs onwards.

Our local outfit uses a rather tasteful X300 Daimler Jag. Not sure if it's by Coleman Milne. The Maser does look a bit cumbersome behind the rear doors. Perhaps the coachbuilder could have extended the wheelbase and lengthened the doors by a few more inches.

They've already extended the wheelbase, seems there are people sat in the backseats in the second photo. Edited by delta037 on Monday 19th April 16:23
So, performance?
It's only a bit of fibreglass, shouldn't add too much weight, right?
So that's a hearse that does the standing 1/4 mile in 12 seconds, 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, and a top speed of about 165 (accounting for the extra drag).
Can somebody book one of these for me when I pop off please?
