Car Hire + Weekend away

Good Morning all,

I have a little weekend away booked for May taking the OH to Nice for the weekend, now my original question was going to be if anyone knows any interesting car hire companies as I was thinking we would take a drive up into Provence whilst we are there and thought it might be nice to do this in something a little interesting.

Now however, as I am sure is the same with everyone else I am wondering if I am even going to get to fly. I am hoping the flights will be open by then but what about the backlog of passengers that have got to get on planes before me....?

Is the South of France to far to drive just for the weekend?

I would say yes, if you're going for a relaxing holiday/break rather than a driving trip.

BA have pretty much assured me that we will be able to fly. Now just to find something nice to drive...

As far as I am aware - if you are booked and planes are flying - then you are safe. Delayed passengers will get put onto planes with available capacity.

At least I hope this is the case, as we are booked for Italy at the end of May/early June!
