Fault Code Reader - Anyone?

Hi

Does anyone has a engine fault code reader near Bournemouth that i could borrow for 10 minutes in exchange for Beeer Token?

My engine light has come on and the car is lumpy which points to a sensor but Woods BMW cannot see me till next tuesday and the Ringwood garage want £40+vat just to read it.

Any help much appreciated

I'm in Hythe, but only evenings and weekends if thats any good to you. I can't lend you the reader as it's carsoft and loaded on the work laptop, but if you can bring the car to me i can certainly plug it in for you.

I have a handheld reader which reads generic codes on petrol cars from '01 up and diesel cars from '04 up, I might be in Poole on Thursday afternoon, can bring it down with me!

I met up with Herbs and hooked up my code reader, it came up with 2 fault codes which hopefully he can now get fixed!

It appears only a sensor which is quite common on these so booked in to be sorted next week.
