Insurance valuation

re insuring my car but not sure what I should value it at??

What does everyone value their car for in the event of an insurance claim.

Ive been advised if over 40k i should reactivate my tracker which in turn will cost more..

I insured mine last year with Hagerty with agreed value of £50k. They wanted an immobiliser but not a tracker. However, I'm not sure if this is still available given the recent thread on Hagerty.

not sure of the value of my car as its a 2001 AS engine car but all the options and full factory built?

I think I would put a value of about £39K on it which souldn't be too far out and just creep under the tracker figure too.
