Did a TVR Trackday at Guadix on Friday and for the last hour we changed to the corkscrew circuit. Clive who owns the track, has put a lot of effort into making it safe to run in both directions and the corkscrew runs in the opposite direction to normal whilst also using different parts of the circuit.

The highlights are the corkscrew - pretty much like the one at Laguna Seca which is over a blind crest, just like Laguna Seca, but a little tighter. The circuit then goes into a fast left, through a chicane that can be straightlined and into two lefthanders, the second of which provides a wide entrance onto the start and finish straight. The braking zone for the hairpin at the end is over a crest so, just like Quarry at Combe, do you brake before or after?

We were the first trackday group to give it a go and everyone was very impressed. (As apparently was the first person out in a single seater a few months back - one D.Hill esq)

Interesting stuff indeed and it looks superb.

Would you mind giving a bit more of rundown on getting there, travel etc as me a few mates are always keen to explore a few of the more interesting European circuits?

Many thanks indeed
