Apologies if this is in the wrong forum and I expect some stick for this. I have coarse/wirey hair and want it to be softer. Can anyone make any recommendations for a decent shampoo and conditioner?

Thanks

Have you seen 'Something About Mary'? Apparently it only makes women's hair go hard and rigid, but has long been used as a conditioner in many countries by men with similar hair snags to yourself.

Try tenderising your scalp.

Note to self: do not google 'meat hammer' image search again at work.

Not me, but my friend uses this when his hair gets a little longer than the Grade 2 it usually is. He has coarse, wiry hair too.

I'm another vote for those products, both shampoo and conditioner but for a really good conditioner every so often Osmo Essence Intensive Deep Repair Mask is the best IMO.

I have particularly thick hair, thanks to my Jamaican grandad. My solution to this is to shave it off every week.

Good old grandad is also responsible for my unfeasibly large penis, which I don't mind so much.

Pantene Pro V, for all the moaning about it containing silicon, the 'Smooth and Sleek' variant is very decent imo. Be generous with the conditioner.
