Hi. I've recently been issued with a Blackberry by my company. The I.T. dept have set this up to receive E-mails from my work E-mail account. My question is, can I add another E-mail address to the Blackberry?? I mean, can it deal with more than one E-mail account?

Someone more knowledgeable will be along but the answer is yes. If you login on your PC and then add other addresses. There are some that it will not take though.

Sadly at the moment mine cannot even cope with one email address. banghead

Are we talking a personal pop3/imap type email address?

Not sure if BES/BIS can run side by side? Someone will be along to tell you shortly. You definitely can't if your IT dept have a restrictive policy in place.

I would comment that you might want to check with your IT department as it may be against their rules.

BIS is the best way forward and I know that one well enough.

Logon on to your network provider ..

o2 = http://www.o2email.co.uk/

vodafone = http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/

orange = https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=orangeuk

You will need your username and password from whoever set it up for you in first place. Our company has 10 handsets and we all use BIS as opposed to BES. Once you login to the above, you can add email addresses from there. If i remember correctly you can have 10 addresses.

For BES, I am unsure of settings and how to change.

Cheers folk! I'll speak to someone in I.T. and just check they don't have any issues with me doing this. I wasn't sure if the handset coped with more than one.

You can run BIS and BES at the same time. If your personal mail is on Google then download the rather nice Google app. If not, you will find you get two mail icons. One will hold your work email the other will hold both your work and personal mail. Frustrating.

I try to tell people that, but most want one box for work, one box for personal.

On the contrary, I prefer my emails sorted this way on my BB
