Speedo reading

Just a quick question, how many MPH/1000RPM would you expect to see in 4th?

Took the old girl out for a spin on Sunday to blow the cob webs out and was up at 6500RPM in 4th just wondered how quick that really is as I am sure the speedo didn't pass 70 ;-)?

Actually this is a serious question as I don't think the speedo was reading correctly and may be in need of a trip to speedy cables as the bit where it goes into triple figures doesn't get explored very often and may be reluctant to mve up at that end of the scale.

~20mph/1k in 4th, 27mph/1k in 5th.
