Sagaris Rear screen ali exterior handle.

Hi again

My new Sag i put deposit on Saturday doesnt appear to have the rear screen exterior ali handle that sits on the window at the bottom to help open the rear window. And they look super cool too. Its hooked shape if ya know wot i mean.

Any ideas where you can get them from? Ive scanned all usual TVR parts sites but knowone sells them!

I think Racing Green or Tvr Power are your best bet, failing that a breakers.

I got mine from Racing Green last year.
There is an inner and an outer part to the exterior handle.
Don't bother with the inner and save yourself £30 ish - Simply drill the existing inner to suit the new outer handle.

RG dont have any. Jamie (technician) asked the parts guy and he said no longer available, and none left in circulation.

Bugger! Ill keep looking tho. If i find any ill let ya know.

Right guys, my bro in law is looking into manufacturing (i think its how its spelt) some himelf. He has had a look at the design and is very confident!!

I am due to run my car over to his gaff on Saturday, weather depending, so he can eye it all up against the rear window.

He is pretty hot at making stuff like this!! I will keep you all posted on this forum when i have some news if he can or not. Fingers crossed lads!

Last year, TVR Power were looking at getting some made. I believe what was stopping them was the quantities they had to order to make it worthwhile. It might be worth chasing them to see if there has been any progress?

I got mine a year ago from London TVR

I had mine supplied and fitted by Track V Road. It might be worth giving them a shout to see if they have any left.
