DS Lite, DSi, PSP3000 or PSP Go! ?

Quick question, my son who's six has had a DS and needs to replace it. In view of the fact that he spends most of his time playing car racing games and the like, can anyone give me a pointer as to which is going to be the best?

One last thing, I need to buy it today or tomorrow.

Discount the PSP Go straight away - without the UMD you basically lose access to the huge volume of cheap 2nd hand games that are out there at Game, Cex, etc.

I'd recommend the PSP3k of those options if he's mainly into racing games. Analog stick isn't ideal, but its control for racing is far better than anything on the DS.

GT PSP
Burnout series
Ridge Racer/Ridge Racer 2
Motorstorm (which I need to by asap, its apparently pretty good)
Wipeout

I just mainly alternate between GT and Ridge Racer though.
