Hi

So it appears that one of my friends has managed to get make-up all over the back of some BMW black leather seats.

What is the best way of removing the make-up?

Burning it thoroughly is the only way to remove the DNA trace.

One up the bum, no harm done (except make up on the leather)

Will this not ruin the leather seats?

Same way you get it off leather hoods I suppose.

Apparently Protein colagulent can help remove the stains easily.

You can buy makeup remover wipes which have a moisturiser in them or baby bum wipes will probably do it. If the seats are perforated though, you're probably knackered.

try a leather cleaner (like the ones you get for leather sofas), this will condition the leather aswell. Either that or nail polish remover.

Nail polish remover melts plastic so I wouldn't risk it, TBH. Makeup is basically some form of fat IIRC.

Well, I'd say your mate that applied the make up in the back of the car with a variety of cleansers, wipes, and a big fat apology.
