All,

Can anybody advise me on the best way to tint Murcielago rear lights? I want something that is road legal and reversible in case I don’t like how it turns out.
Thanks in advance.

This is what I used. Highly recommended, reversible and legal. Is the only product out there I could find.

All the best.

Pete,

That is perfect! Did you take the lights out to apply the film? Did you tint the entire light including the angled lower endge?

Thanks

Yes tinted it all. I actuallt arranged for the people that did my wrap to fit it, but they didn't need to remove the lights. Also there seems to be no heat issue with this product causing it to lift. Cost a fraction of quotes I've had for permanent tinting too (about £55 inc delivery)

You really have freshened up that car Pete. It looks brilliant.

I also liked the purple as well.

petey petey petey

dont want to piss on flames, BUT as far as i know from YEARS ago the law states you have to have a reflector on the rear of the vehicle? or does the reflector still work with this new stuff? sounds good though as reversible.

i used to use the spray stuff or to get a better finish and fully custom to the shade you require is go to a body shop and get them to laquer the lights and put in a tiny bit of black in the laquer. this way it keeps the gloss look of the lights

(not that i give a toss about legal, as you car looks incredible)

Pete,

Another question: Did they tuck the film in under the gasket that goes around the light, or did they stop just short?

Cheers.
