The cam chain is making abit of a racket on the S2 and after 20 years and 160k miles the Head Gasket could probably do with changing too.

I'm fairly certain that the head will be cracked (common on the inline 5 turbo) so I'm thinking of acquiring another head.

Does anybody know of someone who'd be able to skim and port the head? I'd also need the exhaust valves and the stem seals changed too.

Andy knows a chap, he was the one that inspected the head on my car and found the cracks. Give him a call I'm sure he'll give you the guys details or be able to help.

I've heard good reports about Classic and Modern in Bracknell.

I'm going to drop off a crank for a balance on Saturday; a friend had similar work on an engine he was building but not sure if they do heads.

Have a look here: http://www.classic-and-modern-engine-services.co.u...
