Isn't there something about the amount of dollar notes in circulation around the world that if they were returned and cashed in it would bankrupt the US overnight.
Perhaps this is a ploy to remove all the 100 dollar notes out of circulation overnight
Cashed in for what, gold or other paper denominations?Perhaps this is a ploy to remove all the 100 dollar notes out of circulation overnight

I know our labour government thinks printing money is the route to wealth but I predict that all major economies will return to gold and silver standards within my childrens life time.
There is a school of thought that our el Gordo who is cannot be thick as he makes out (:hehe) sold UK gold stocks not to cash in, but deliberately and at a low price to prevent the Gold taking over from govenmental IOU's i.e. the stock market. I think history will show that to be a fair assessment and one of the corner stones that helped keep inflated the stock market bubble to eventual bursting point, remember where you heard it first .
