Driving through Oxford, I had a proper 'I want one of those' moments as this (below) went past. Just about managed to get a crap picture on the phone as it stopped to turn left...

So what is it?

<sits back and waits for the first joker to come back with 'Audi A4'...>

Either that or a Lenham Le Mans Sprite.

At no point did I say it was a rational 'I want one of those' moments!

Lightning fast service as usual on here!
It must be some form of Sprite and judging by some of the photos of other cars on the web, one of the better examples...

Great looking car in the flesh though. Loving the '60s racer thing.

Top job thanks!

I'm glad to see my well trained eye has not let me down and yet again picked out something either a) unaffordable or b) absolutely unobtainable.

Excellent. grumpy

Obviously the Sebring Sprites are rare unobtanium, but if you like the style / noise / character etc a normal 'Sprite' or the identical MG Midget will get you pretty close. Minilites and a roll bar will get you closer still, and hardtops show up on Ebay if you need the full effect.

I owned one for 4 years as my only car, and absolutely loved it!! Never had a hardtop though.
