Morning PH,

I'm getting myself into a bit of a flurry. I cannot find anywhere online that is streaming the BTCC from Rockingham this weekend. I was back in the UK (I'm in Germany for another month) for the first meeting. My mate here said it was shown on:

http://myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=248&...

I use the above to watch English football, but as you can see from the link, doesn't look like they will be showing the touring cars.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You might be able to have it live on the ITV4 website (assuming its on ITV4 cant remember).

Alternatively you could use TVCatchup.

Not sure if either of these will be available in Germany though.

tvproxy. co.uk, Cost £9 for the month but it does work. Absolute godsend working in Norway. Norweigan GP commentry isn't the greatest.

Dont know if there's free ones out there. I wasn't sure about giving them money, but went through paypal and i only took out a month. It works fine, i'll take out the year next time.

Dont know if it's legal though?

OK cool. I think will just get the parents to record it on Sky+ and have two long days catching up with Rockingham and Brands. I return to the UK in a month.

Thanks again for suggestions fellas.

I got a portable freesat from Maplins to take abroad with me and it worked well. it was all packed in a box about the size of one for a socket set. Cost me £79 about 2 years ago, I changed the reciever for a HD one and am using that now.

Slightly off topic, but live ITV4 coverage only lasts until 3pm because of some cricket tournament.

I hate the place, it's soul-less. I like more traditional tracks where you can get a bit closer, sit on the grass and watch the cars go by. You can't do that there. That big grandstand is an impressive building, but the cars look like dots in the distance and it's hard to pick them out when they start going round the infield's twists and turns. Oh and the way the crowd feel they have to act very American.

Have to agree with you there the first race was good tho!!

But bloody typical that Criket seems more important than the BTCC 3rd race considering the ITV have 4 bloody channels couldn't they have put it on one of the others..................i just hope this ain't the start of fragmented coverage with 'other' sport interupting the live coverage.

Is Rockingham closed to the public, or is it just the TV cameras not picking up any of the 'crowd'?

ITV are really crap- Britain's got talent and Agatha Christie repeats fill up the channels and they cannot be arsed to show the final race live. It was this crap attitude at lost them F1, hopefully BTCC will follow.

I know, just tuned in after getting home from work and they're cutting it off. Being shown here http://www.itv.com/sport/btcc/simulcast/default.ht... but uni halls internet is slower than dialup so I've got no bloody chance of seeing it. Hopefully people will get annoyed and the BBC will pick up BTCC as well
