Hi,

Prices for these vary, i have seem a mallory set, but you have to cut to length but more generally what is the best to go for, prices vary considerably.

I've used Magnecore, but after 3 leads broke over time, I discovered that the warranty was not what it should be (bought direct, not from a re-seller), and have recently changed to Moroso, sourced from Real Steel. You cut to length, which is good, once you get the technique right, which is not really difficult. Would recommend them. Buy the heat shrink numbers and the Moroso crimper. I also got some extra cable tidies.

I've got the Moroso ones on the racer, I used a CCTV BNC crimp tool as they are a lot cheaper, well I borrowed mine from work.
Its a good set you get enough length for any install plus all the types of connector.

You're only crimping the distributor ends, and although it is a bit fiddly, after a practice or 2 it's fine.

There a new set on e-bay of the spec you want! (Sorry don't have link)

O! and make certain they send them recorded post if you do buy! As you don't want them going missing!

Thanks and thanks,

I can see a mallory set for £50, but looking at real steel they now seem a bit expensive.

Has the veneer turned up at all, i took my dash to bits and still hoping it shows, i have the veneer stick on set but not having much luck sticking it down.

Regards

Hi Andy,

Hassled the neighbours, checked the local depot and nothing.

I even filled in a form, and spoke to the guys in Ireland, strangely that is where all undelivered ends up.

I still have my dashboard in bits scatered around the bedroom, and not sure to continue with the stick on veneer, in the hope it shows or go the stainless brushed option.

Regards.

Bosch/Halfrauds for Landy V8. Around £30.

Over 7-years used two sets - no probs.

I went to rimmers got a set of SD1 silicone ones for £23.00 the only problem was the Coil to Distributor was to short, so replaced that with a Hot Wire one for 3 quid 50, all now seems OK
