As i was driving home yesterday after work, all was very smooth and quite an easy drive, what i enjoy at the end of the day. As i was coming up for the roundabout which takes me into my town, a Van from my left just pulled out in front of me!
making me brake from 30 to a halt ASAP! Didn't think much of it as i had time to react and i did so in a good manner (and i was in a good mood) Got back onto my course and was driving behind it keeping a safe distance as when i see drivers do something i dont agree with i usually stay back as they are unpredictable! He stops for traffic lights, as do i behind him and i noticed he had one of those "how is my driving" stickers, if only, it actually said "Is my driving bad? WELL f
k YOU!" and that pritty much boiled my blood! Obviously he had no consideration for other road users and about how others may feel about his driving!
Rant over!

Highway Code 185
Traffic "approaching" a roundabout at speed should not assume it will have priority when it gets there...
When reaching the roundabout you should
•give priority to traffic approaching from your right, unless directed otherwise by signs, road markings or traffic lights
•check whether road markings allow you to enter the roundabout without giving way. If so, proceed, but still look to the right before joining watch out for all other road users already on the roundabout; be aware they may not be signalling correctly or at all
•look forward before moving off to make sure traffic in front has moved off
