Savings -Keep GBP or transfer into another (which) currency?
Discussion
With all the talk about hung parliaments and sterling diving; anyone considering it prudent to tranfer out? Has anyone done so?
I have a Swiss account (not dodgy as it sounds
- used to live there) which I could use to transfer into Swiss Francs- but would it be worth it with the fees/currency conversion I would incur?? Or should I open an alternate currency account in the UK

Plenty of sick currencies around.
Lots of bloat in sharemarkets..
Not many places left. Gold might be useful to a certain extent.
Dont forget something like 75% of the FTSE100's revenue is derrived offshore, so you get a wide exposure to foreign currencies and can invest cheaply in a tracker or ETF.
Currency trading is one of the hardest things to second guess they say.
Personally Id be looking into shares with good foreign earnings. If the pound crashes their earnings in UKP will fly the other way... up
