Does AppleCare just extend your warranty, or give you accidental damage cover as well?

Just wondering as the MBP as a student with 3 years AppleCare might be a good idea for me if it does accidental damage, as I'm useless with laptops!

Nope as far as I know it doesn't cover accidental damage.

Damn, just reminded me that I need to sort out my cover that comes with my bank account!!! How bizarre.... but great cos its in the package.

I don't know, but my household insurance doesn't have accidental damage. Figured the MBP may be worth a go if it came with accidental damage for that price.
