Can anyone help, the red T350t in the classifieds is mine. I've had a few enquiries but nothing concrete, even down to a guy last week saying he was looking to get a train up to see the car. I don't believe the car is over-priced?? The car is unique as far as I'm aware, in red and targa. Any ideas, I'm even open to a little negotiation.
The car looks great, maybe you just need to sell the advert a bit more, maybe some new photo's just to change it up a bit. Just after you have cleaned the car so it looks at its best.
I would add a bit more text to the add just so people new I liked the car etc
He for sale is my pride and joy. A 2004 T350t, anthracite wheels which complement the rare red pearlescent colour well, The car has full TVR service history carried out at Castle and HHC TVR which was last serviced Sept 09 and has only covered 1000miles since due to been wrapped up for the winter.
The car has a tasteful interior which is black leather with red highlights around the gear stick and radio etc and also features colour coded seat backs.
The car is in overall great condition and features many upgrades I have added over the years. These include amourfend to protect the paint work from stone chips, upgraded radiator and a power exhaust which sounds fantastic although the original will also come with the car if you prefer. The car has Bilstein suspension all round and I have recently replaced two of the front tyre’s.
There is a minor scuff on two of the wheels but other than this the car is in great condition and ready to be enjoyed throughout the summer.
Really don’t want to sell as the car has been a pleasure to own but I can hear the imminent sounds of tiny feet on the way so has to be sold for something more suitable for the new family.
Serious buyers only please I am willing to negotiate a little for a fair price.

I'd honestly put a little bit more in the advert - space the spoec out from the text, and give it over 100 words - it's worth it.
It may seem rubbish, but to me a person who is willing to put the time and effort into an ad, would have put the time and effort into the car.
I'd also say the price... there are dealers cars cheaper than yours, and there is a Cascade one at the same money - which one is going to grab the eye more...?
I'd play on the upgrades, and the fact you still have the original exhaust. Maybe upload a youtube clip of the sound it makes, and a walk-around the car? Just anything to make it stand out from the crowd.
Can I close by saying it looks like a lovely thing, and good luck! Hope you find your way back into a TVR soon... (swap it for a Cerb+ cash your way?;))

Ok - Can see it now. IMHO price is about right BUT the photos are extremely poor. Looks very dirty in 2 of them, no decent interior shots - could do with an engine bay pic as well (make sure it's clean).
Full history - but what has been done at each service? What service was carried out 1000 miles ago?
Has the clutch been done? Its a very expensive item that tends to go around 12-20k!
How long have you owned it? How many previous owners? MOT & Tax? Does it have air-con? Luggage cover & sun visors? Full or half leather?
You're trying to sell a 21k car and you need to ensure you 'sell' it and it stands out. Whilst there's not many T350s for sale you also need to remember it's a very niche car and theres not many potential buyers either.

Would have to go with the earlier comments, you really need to spend some time on a the advert wording and b the photos. You really need to give the car the works with regard to a clean, wheels off etc and make it all shine before taking the photos. If you post an advert with a dirty car people will tend to think that you have not cared for the car, not the case I am sure but you dont want to give people a reason not to even look at your add/car. Spell out the service history and any additional works done, how are the tyres etc. Take the time to look at the other adds for TVRs and see which ones stand out to you and then follow their format.

Agree with the above, give it a wash! More photo's required interior, shots of seats showing if there's any wear on the interior (seat bolsters) ...Full history - but what has been done at each service? What service was carried out 1000 miles ago?

Number of owners, how long have you had it?
Are there any extras, air con, luggage cover, sun visors, full leather, head lining, acumate charger, jump leads, car cover ETC...
I'd also have a look at the other T350 adverts for ideas for photo's and descriptions and assess the competition.

I'm looking for a T350.. AND live in Durham.. however, like others have said, as a potential buyer, the ad did nothing for me, no details, crap pictures, no history, no details on the car, what's been done, etc.. If I'm spending that sort of cash i want more info..
Also, price wise, I can get a dealer car for that money, with a warranty.. I can get one without warranty for 2-3k less.

Thanks for all of the comments guys, I'll take some more photos over the weeekend and re word the advert.
The car is genuine, HHC have looked after the car for since I got it in July 05.
There is a little wear and tear on the drivers seat bolsters. The clutch seal was changed 08 and the clutch plate was like new apparently!

List details of servicing, interior shots, shots with roof off, generally more info. Bullet point the interesting standard and optional features/upgrades to make them stand out. Mention whether it has the various TVR enhancements that happened through the T350s life.
Also IMO you're better off showing the seat wear in the photos - as soon as I see an interior shot avoiding the driver's seat area on any leather trimmed car I tend to suspect something (I am of the cynical variety). If I drove 200 miles to view a car with a manky seat I'd be pissed unless I knew before leaving home. #21k is a lot of money to pay for a car needing work.
Oh, and get the wheel refurbished.
Maye also offer to drive it halfway for people who think you're too far away to view.
