A few of us are going into London for some drinks and food, looking for a lively place to eat with reasonable food. !0 guys, no veggies or other weird eating preferences. Budget £30ish quid a head for food. Any suggestions?

i'd second this. you either come up with a new taste sensation, or the most disgusting concoction known to man! great fun, and you can play the flavours safe.

Not at the moment you can't it's closed for refurbishment. I'm bookmarking this though and I'll give it a go when it reopens.

Actually I was think that 'Club Mongo' sounds like a holiday scheme for window lickers but now you mention it, where is Mungo? I miss his drunken ramblings....

Was 11 but one was expelled from the social circle for unacceptable preferences? Or did you get lucky from the outset?

Katzenjammers is a good shout, thanks for the heads up!

Bodeans is amazing, do it!

I'm always on the look out for somewhere a bit fun and interesting to go with my mates when they come to London. I was considering Medieval Banquet until I was warned it was a huge tourist trap by quite a few people.

I nice American Diner with waitresses on roller skates or something themed and fun would be a laugh...

All ideas welcome!

Job done.

"Joseph your host welcomes you to a lively evening of entertainment including Yodelling, Accordion and the highly original Tirolean Cow Bell Show"

And a cheese fondue......

mmmmm

(apparently, I was banned from here some time ago....I decided I did not want to know why, and my mates have been kind enough to keep it quiet...)

Anyone know if it's back open yet?
