I have a golf VR6 to sell, the wheels need re-alloying apart from that it's in very good condition, is it worth getting the wheels done before I sell it, or let the buyer do it. How much should I pay to get it done - thanks in advance for the info

Just my thought but

I would rather pay a few quid to get teh car topnotch and get teh sell rather than have someone moan about wheels and drive cost down

Also when looking for a car in my eyes if the wheels are fubar what else is wrong that I cant see.

Cost, no idea £100 percorner at a guess

How bad are they? If they're really bad, as suggested the buyer could use it as a way to squeeze a few quid off the price. If there's just a couple of small scuffs I'd leave them & just ask them what they were expecting on a used car, if they're newly refurbed they might wonder how bad you'd treated them before they were done, I think of a few small scuffs like I do a slightly dirty engine bay

As for the price, I'd expect to get change from £150 for all 4 if I was getting them done
