Alfa 75 2.5 V6 - Restoration.
Discussion
Hallo there,
A mate of mine owns one of the above (D Reg, 1986 Silver) which has been off the road for 4 years.
It was stored as a runner and roadworthy but it needs some TLC now to get back on the road.
Does anybody know or anyone (or indeed, can recommend someone) that could do a slow restoration on it (not too quick at the moment as lack of storage space)?
Or indeed, would anybody be interested in buying it for a restoration project (far too good for scrappage or stripping for spares
)
It's had a mod to the cambelt (by an Alfa mechanic in Carterton but unsure if he is about any more!) which has replaced the hydraulic tensioner with a mechanical version. It now needs a new belt, but he doesn't know what tension to tighten it to. Other than that's, it's virtually original.
How many of these actually remain then?!
Many thanks,
43034.
