for those who have a 60th birthday on saturday-afraid sunday is recover day as Greig & Vharri and there partners are taking me out for dinner...Drink could be involved somewhere.

Leave it until about 2pm to get the drink out of your system, then get the Cobra out for a hood down drive to blow the cobwebs away, nothing better I find!

I'm up for it. Any ideas Graeme where we could go? Are you coming to Edinburgh cruise on Saturday evening... Its gonna be a good turnout.
Erm, is this a PH thing? I ask as there is no "Edinburgh Cruise" organised for this weekend, or any other time soon - i.e. The Lothian & Borders Police/Hermistion Gait Retail Park management approved evenings down at Hermiston.
Sorry it's not a meet, mind you I'm not saying you cant have one!
Drive it day is the idea of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, they have been doing this for several years, you can read about it here: http://www.fbhvc.co.uk/drive-it-day/
But the idea is to get everyone with a classic or vintage car to get it out on the road on drive it day. My lasting impression of last year was of a lady of 'a certain age' driving her Lagonda 1930's tourer near Pitlochry, with the hood down, in the rain with a bloody great smile on her face! To me that epitomises Drive it Day, just get it out and drive it like it should be driven!
