Cleaning Engine bay

Any recommendations for cleaning / de-greasing the engine bay?

I use Meguiars Super Degreaser to clean the really grubby bits, then for the less than filthy areas I use Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner and work it in with some small brushes.

After, when its all dry I usually protect things with a decent spray of 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Have to admit, the Noble bay isn't bad enough for me to have bothered yet but all I'd suggest is a roll of tin foil as well. Cover any exposed electrical bits that you're likely to hit with the jet washer just for added piece of mind.

Gunk and a stiff brush, don't even think about steam cleaning it

Also helps to 'warm' the car, but not hot.
The stuff recommended above is good stuff but if you want something from Halfrauds then the Autoglym Motorcycle and Engine cleaner is a good degreaser and once finished, spray Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care over it. Don't have to wait for it to dry before applying so saves a bit of time.
If you use a pressure washer, take care!

Autoglym engine & machine cleaner works for me then as said previous autoglym vinyl & rubber care for that new engine look works a treat and smells nice
