18" wheels for Griff
Discussion
Ah but I was the first to fit spiders (all be it the 16" ones) all round on my Griff, I even told the factory and Penninsula how I'd done it so there
as for cost I paid £300 for the wheels with tyres, about £20 on wheel studs and nuts and that was it, but then again it does help to have about £1/2 million pounds worth of machinery kicking about and a bit of spare time to play with

Yeah but, no but I was the furst to have blue badges and when richb said he'd got 18" rears I thought you w*nker then monaco said he'd got anthracite 18"s but 18s are for lezzies, 17s are much betta and anyway......
Sorry ive been late in responding about my 18"spiders but ive been to the bathroom to check if my genitals had disappeared and whether i had gay feelings for Mo Molam.Glad to report their still hanging and as for little Mo......Oh by the way, the Spiders are fine...zzIf it calms you guys down, I had Massey Fergusion 20 stud tractor tyres on my Griff before it was made... and I had those bling bling yellow plastic things on it as well. No problems with going off road, or sleeping policemen. Looked absolutely the dogs' what evers....
Down sides... Insurance company might not like it. Reduced turning circle (depends on how the 18s have been fitted), increased stress on suspension, increased ride harshness due to lack of tyre wall complience. But if it looks good, all this can go out of the window.
If it floats your boat then do it. Many of the wheel bling bling arguments are down to personal taste.
Bling Bling as they say.
