Lucky escape with Cats
Discussion
Mt 360 CS is in for a service. I mentioned to the Dealer that the engine light was on, hoping it was just a gremlin requitring a reset as there was nothing untoward with the car.
Anyway get a call to say that the car needs a new lambda sensor - fair do's, after all I do my Strad a fair few miles. So the car was off for an MOT as part of the service, I then get another call saying the car has failed the MOT as the Cat is emitting too much CO2 - so essentially I'm knackered as the Strad uses a sports Cat (which I believe ain't cheap - £2K++) - so the Dealer goes back to get to the bottom of the problem and discovers that the first Lambda sensor upset the second, making the second sensor kaput - phew
Almost had a nasty surprise
