Hi, im buying a noble 3r tommorow hopefully, i want to double check the stamped in chassis number against the v5 but cant find it !!
I was told its on the rear engine frame but cant see it there ??

Stamped in the chassis in front of the drivers side i think? Also the vin plate under the rear clam by the header tank.

Sorry I should've said in front of drivers seat. Vin plate is under rear clam on passenger side, if it's there you cant miss it!

Thanks, so just to clarify, i access it from insde the car, like the old fords under a flap of carpet ? sorry for all the questions but i want to get it right in the morning and look like i know what im doing. lol

Just open up the rear clam and stand next to the passenger side wheel. There is a VIN plate directly below the coolant header tank. To be sure its all original you can check the build plates that are dotted around the car too. the last 2 digits of the VIN plate should tally with the build plates. They can be found on either forward door jambs, just forward of the upper hinges, on each rear light cluster on the inside of the rear clam, on each rear wheel well forward mudguard and on the radio fascia, but you have to lay on your back and look up from the passenger footwell.
