which cats?

Tvr gurus! I intend to replace the linked decats on my (4.2) cerb with cats, its getting harder to get onto trackdays with my decatted SP system and the stink from the decatted exhaust is starting to bug me. Any reccomendations on manufacturers? Anyone know of the spec of a less restrictive than standard cat? I will call Tim at act tomorrow, but wondered what if any, the other choices were.

There are high flow cats which have half the number of channels (40 cell vs 80 cell, something like that, can't remember the numbers). These will get through MOTs and give more power but a bit less noise attenuation that standard cats. Worth looking up. I have a pair in my garage actually which I only use for MOTs.

Stink my garage is attached and my car can stink out the whole house!

Good timing - I met Tim yesterday and he mentioned he's just looking into 100 cell cats for better flow (standard are 200).
