2 flying laps with an ex Speed 12 Driver

I recently went on a Jaguar Track day, to test out there 500 bhp + super charger XKR and XFR and after hammering them round the track for a while at what i thought was a good pace, i was pushed into and nomally asperated XK with a Jaguar works driver at the wheel to show me how good the standard V8 was with a proper drive at the wheel !!

Who turned out to be Rob Barff, Ex TVR Speed 12 works driver

Well Rob floored it out of the pits and didnt let up for 2 laps,, wow the man is quick !!!

and even with a Cerb owner sat at the side of him asking question after question about his time at TVR and the Speed 12 he hit ever apex on every corner at huge speeds,

What a top guy he is

well about 2 years ago i nearly bought an XK, but at the last moment i got the Cerb instead.

Since then Jaguar keep inviting me to there event days,, so really it was just a jolly.

The XKR is a very good machine but still not in the same league as the Cerb
