My Swift Sport seems to attract stones so aside from the dozen or so little chips I have one bloody great chip/dent in the middle of the front leading edge - akin to an air rifle shooting it!
There is also a slight dent/impression where someone has sat on it.

I've just taken it to Dingmaster in Bristol and they've quoted £200 +VAT to respray the bonnet and remove the dent, touch in a chip on the grill, touch in a chip on the rear window edge and remove an already touched up area on the rear where dunce here reversed into a fence post.

Reading that back it sounds a good price but I wanted to make sure...

So you're saying this is dirt cheap and maybe too good to be true?

What colour is it ? Are they blending into the wings ?

Definitely a lot of variation in price depending on where you live.Up here,Stoke-on-trent,you'll find some shops charging as little as £100 for a bonnet.
£200 doesnt sound excessive

Had the Jag bonnet resprayed last year after a car had flicked something like a lump of steel across it. My guy quoted 200quid for me as he knows me, normal price would have been 250. Bear in mind the car is a S-Type so ali bonnet& is the rare Blue Prisim which is a blue-green flip metallic. He did a fantastic job & turned it around in 4 days.

I just had a quote from a company that a friend of mine has used on two of his cars, doing a top notch job on each.

Anyway, it was £600 for front and rear bumpers, bonnet and blown into the wings but he did say a bonnet on its own would be £250 to £300 depending on size.

Are they just going to paint the bonnet? is it worth asking about blending into the front wings.

£200 for a bonnets seams a good price but if it doesn't match the wings it's £200 down the drain.
