Someone posted this up on another forum, and it made me laugh.. I guess because it's something I (and alot of other people seem to) do.

When you park your car up for example, and as you're walking away from it.. Give it a slight glance, or even the full turnaround. Where all you're really doing it checking it out, and admiring it?

Another thing is the shop window..

Is it something that everyones guilty of?

Yes to both - but worse at looking in shop windows when out on the bike, the porsche garage has a lovely mirrored window...

If you are a petrol-head and don't give your car "the look" you need a more exciting car!

I ALWAYS do it.

I always do this, and must admit I am guilty of taking the 'long route' round the car to check for any fresh dings when I get back to it

I also always lock it again as I'm walking away, just to be sure...

Yup, normally followed by thoughts about how impracticle black paint is to keep clean.

Yep!

Especially when its just been cleaned smile

I sometimes dislike doing it though as I notice things that need doing and this makes me unlove the car frown

Yep, turn around quick glance and eugh! frown

The problem is I always think it looks better than it is, until I look at it again.

I have a habit of doing it through shop windows - looking at it , seeing if anyone else is looking then hitting the lock button again just to make sure its locked

You do realise that in most cars a second lock turns the alarm off?
