Unfortunately the heater-fans in my Tuscan doesn`t work. At first, they worked sometimes and sometimes not. But now, they obviously quit the job finally. Any idea what the fault could be? Switch, relais, fan-motor, wires, fuse? Where could the fault be most probably?

Thanks

Udo

Hi Udo, maybe its just a bad connection on the switch.
Some of the control units are well known for the connectors to overheat so maybe worth checking but I dont know which one it is. Also, if yours lets in a little rain, that could also have given you a connection problem.

There is a TVR specialist electrical guy in England, Carl Baker.
Try giving him a call.

Good luck,

My heater fan stopped working i traced the problem to a connecter on the fan control box. It is located passenger side under carpet foot well. i found that one of the small prongs in the connecter had melted. i soldered a new one on, however if yours is working intermitantly it is probably just a loose connection.

Because the led`s on the switch are working, I thought that the switch must be okay too. Or am I not right?
How does the fan control box look? On the first try I couldn`t find anything like this in the passengers side under the carpets.

I forgot to say that the fan made a unhealthy sound just before it gave up definately. So I guess it could be the fan itself!? Did anybody open the black box in the engine bay where the fan must be under? Any experiences?

Thanks a lot

Udo
