without the keys!!!!!! Arrrghh...
Many, many thanks to all the boys & girls who offered advice & help at Chatsworth after some kind soul (not been identified yet
) shut my boot - with my coat in it, with the keys in the pocket 
.
After almost 2 hours of trying various methods, including trying to get my coat through the hole where the reg plate light is, trying to by-pass the immobiliser and get a live feed to the boot 'button, trying to find the elusive 'emergency release cable' & finally getting the boot levered up enough to allow small fingers to get my coat (and keys) 
.
Not sure who came up with the final idea (one of the guys from ex-works?) - please let yourself be known (I owe you a number of pints
).
Lesson learnt - always have keys in your trouser pocket!!!!!!!

Hello - What a mare that must of been for you Jaye! incidently being fairly new where do I find this emergency release cable (should)I ever need it. ps very green at you all being out and about but hopefully I will back on the road in a week or two. I still have a few jobs on my to do list but I realise I need to drive it and enjoy it and not be continually working on it. My day has been consumed by re-decorating my daughters bedroom it is now a shrine to Peppa Pig - very PINK!

The cable looks like a bicycle brake cable (outer & then internal cable) - is hidden in the boot (elusive - best to show you some time).Cheers

PS you have my sympathy with the 'pink' theme - I have 2 daughters!!!
