Suggest you read this posting I wrote last week on the general TVR forum before proceeding down alternative routes, could save you a few bob or two!

Like everybody else on here, we're all looking for top tips......
Well a couple of weeks ago I put up a posting re my dials as they failed to perform. My Griff, speedo is unusual - black dial with the lettering TVR on it however, the mileometer is digital, not a common site on an M reg Griff. Anyway having taken the car out of winter storage I found each time I started the car the mileometer 'decreased' from 46K to 0 miles! And to cap it all my rev counter decided to give up as well. Now I could of gone down the new route of ordering two new dials - a total of about £360, then again I could of used a well known repairest £80 a dial and a FOUR week wait! Two weeks ago I took the dials out and found a sticker on each - with the wording 'ETB Instruments' - Found them on the net and was quoted £20 per dial. Yes 20 sheets! 10 days later, both dials serviced and repaired, (new clock battery for the milometer) the dials arrived today and were installed within two hours at Neil Garner's on the Wilts / Glos border. Happy to report all working successfully. Total bill including VAT and postage and packing - £66! Moral of the story - £160 and a four week wait or £66 and a ten day wait - it was a no brainer!! ETB are around Southsea should anybody be interested. John is your man!
