another ball joint post

Well my 2.5 has failed the MOT because of the lower front ball joints. I replaced the top ones a short while back with Rover 100s and all is well. But what is the score with the lower front ball joints? Are they Rover 100 too? And whats the score with the aluminium blocks splitting? I don't know yet if mine have split but it would make sense to change them now to prevent it happening. Is there an upgrade and who can supply them?
