Going camping with the family this coming weekend..group of adults and children.
Does anyone have any good ideas of things to do other than the usual, rounders, football games, etc?
Looking for something to keep adukts & kids entertained.
Cheers

Take a few bars of chocolate and j#hide them, let the kids hunt for them, keeps them amused and close by and they get a treat

Twister is good fun, and after bed time, adult twister with alcohol forfeits can be very humourous.

Some of those giant games can be good too, jenga, connect4 etc. You don't need to buy them, some logical thinking and you can make your own.

A little pointer to keep you in the good books with O/H:

If her feet seem to lack any significant circulation and have a operating temperature of a fridge freezer (as I find most women's feet are!)... just before bed time, when you are boiling up the water for a warm drink, boil extra, enough to fill a small bottle (ideally a glass one with a good lid). Fill the bottle with the hot water, wrap it in a Tshirt and offer it to the O/H as a water bottle.

Don't forget to pack the tent either, that would be very stupid and expensive as well.

Sudoku is handy for the hours you'll all spend sitting in the tent's doorway watching the unrelenting rain hammer down.

Fishing and camping go hand in hand! If you are near the coast take a trip out on a boat most lots of places do trips from an hour to all day! best of all you get to go back to the campsite and bbq all those lovely fish! If your inland there a fly fishing place that do beginers days, or you could just go and buy some cheap gear and just have a go yourself!

Watersports are always fun try and find somewhere that hires out canoes or kayacks and have a day on the river or explore the bays around the coast.

There are so many things you could do! where are you going???
