Mods, would appreciate if this could stay in GG instead of being moved to the regional sections.

I'm giving up on life getting married early next year in N.Yorks.

I'd like to hire a couple of cars. One chauffer driven to ferry the Mrs Gad-Westy-to-be and her father to the Church. My other half is not too fussed as to what this is (certainly no desire for 1920's Rollers etc). I'm thinking maybe a Jag XJ or similar. Any recommendations in and around the Leeds area?

More importantly, I'd like to hire something self-drive for the best man and I to arrive at the church in that will later be used by the myself and my good lady bride to drive to the venue. Looking for recommendations of reputable hire firms either in yorkshire or the North East ideally although the best man will be heading up from Cambs so somewhere on route from there is also a possibility.

In terms of what I'd like (has to be wedding dress friendly):

TVR of some description
Morgan
Jag E-Type
Ferrari 308/328
Older Aston

Any other ideas.

Budget about for second car, £500 ideally to cover a 48 hour period.

I can't make any recommendations I'm afraid, but if you get stuck, I can offer you a Morris 8 as the bride's car (depending on time of year etc.)

Cheers,
Tom

Can't think of anywhere local apart from the place that does Catherhams near York. If you are prepared to travel a little further afield this place may be able to help.

Cheers chaps.

A Caterham is going to be sadly unsuitable though I had been in touch with the guy who runs that company, he's a member on here.

Of the other links, any first hand experience? Certainly look interesting.

No experience of using the edinburgh one but I think the guys that runs that is also a member on here, and their stable of cars is cool to look around as they tend to leave them in the Malmaison car park.
